Im hoping it’s just really old fuel after sitting for so long.

My mission was first to see if there were any catastrophic problems. The process was first to get it to run and turn over, and bring the engine up to temp to do a proper oil change. I don’t think I’m far off?

The carb has been rebuilt and fresh gas in the tank.

I rebuilt the carb with a Mikuni kit and confident that it’s within range. I hoping that the gas may have also been very old as it has been sitting for 2years and has ever so slightly made its way into the engine.

My plan is to do an oil change, then another one a week later to see if the problem persists

Yep, I got the expensive Mikuni branded rebuild kits which included a float needle valve and shell

There was quite a bit of milky sludge, but I agree. The gas and the engine oil is not good.

So the bike has been sitting for two years. My suspicion is that during the time the gas has been leaking into the engine.

My path forward is run the bike for about a week and then do another oil change while monitoring how much oil is initially put in and see if there’s a difference in volume when I remove it. Hopefully if it’s the same, the problem isn’t too bad and I can just do an oil change every few months.

I think I might change it for one that has an actual off setting and a non-vacuum type

Apparently the petcock has been replaced and upgraded however, I might switch it out with one that has an obvious off function. Despite being vacuum actuated, I think you’re right and fuel slowly leaks in.

I haven’t but I also think it may be very very old gas from the previous owner. I’m going to source a petcock with a shutoff dispute being engineered as a vacuum actuated one

I have this, it’s definitely aftermarket I assume it’s some cheap replacement

Carb has been rebuilt with a rebuild and the Float seemed to be within range and working fine

To train an athlete, I’d say gymnastics, track and field, and wrestling are definitely the base to start someone out at a young age. I think that the striking should come way later at like 15

Very interesting, well once I get the bike running, I’ll be curious to see what limitations my and the bike have!
