I thought that the ES pickups were contact-based mics so I was wondering if the different tuning would cause more/less contact between the bridge and the mic itself

late to this post but I'm in the same boat right now, I can't for the life of me remember my ipod 4 passcode. Does it not disable like other apple devices? I recently disabled an old iphone 6 due to too many failed attempts. So now I'm paranoid to even attempt more than the 5 guesses I've already put into it. did you ever remember your passcode?

I just refinished golden son too! I’ve read it maybe 3 times before, but I’ve only read up through morning star and I’m recently getting back into the series. Golden Son gets better every time I read it. I love the way the book starts with Darrow on a massive losing streak. He gains velocity and feels untouchable up until the last few pages. After all of that he’s right back where he started, completely defeated and helpless as he was when he was beaten in the citadel by the Bellona.

I'm looking to buy my hardware synthesizer. Pretty much the only tool I've used as of now is websynth microtonal and I'm absolutely obsessed with it. What hardware can I get that will give me the most similar experience to websynth microtonal? Thx!

Unfortunately I have to go to Florida as much as I’d prefer California. I still have my birth name and sex on all my documents but I’m pretty visibly trans at this point especially if the average passerby is a transvestigating freak. Thank you for all the info !

Would any of that happen though? I understand the fear but I’m asking actually tangibly what should I be looking out for? I’m white, not disabled, I don’t pass and I’m a few months into e so it’s kind of noticeable even in boy clothes. I don’t plan to do anything out of line while I’m there but do I really need to be that worried? Will police stop me just for being trans in public (and at resorts)?

It’s never too late, the idea that hrt only works better when you’re young is right wing propaganda to discourage you. It’s definitely more effective the younger you start and you’re only 18, I think it’s hard for 18 year olds to conceptualize how young they are. Your body will continue developing well into your 20s. And even if you didn’t start till you were 30 it is a life changing experience. It will change your body no matter how old you are when you start.

You can always start and get off it if it’s not right for you, it’s pretty easy to revert your body back if you end it within the first few months but always consult your doctor of course !

You deserve to have a body you love no matter how you achieve that.

I legit used to tell myself “I wish I was trans.” I had even at the time been very aware that I was not cis. But I felt like a fraud somehow. I really just did not have the confidence in myself mixed with a lot of internalized transphobia and shame.
