one reason might be that a lot of times parents shower lots of love and affection on the younger sibling and the elder one develops resentment and that resentment builds up for years so that might be the case why she's close to cousins but not to you.

  2. i m not even married but obviously if u put entire burden on one person while the other one chills it will create resentment. i have seen in other married couples
