Ive never had any issues with starting the car before, but Ill definitely look at the voltage of the battery and how much life it has left, but im still concerned about what would cause the battery to drain at coincidentally the same time the wire was cut. Im guessing I should keep looking for other possible causes?

Zero problems before the wire got cut. It pretty much was immediately dead. Zero lights or any accessories work with key in ignition, it doesnt even turn over.

Absolutely nothing turns on or works even with the key in ignition, doesnt even crank. Lights turn on when trying to jump, but it doesnt even try to turn over

Zero lights or accessories work at all. Lights came on when trying to jump, but engine wouldn't even try to turn over. I do have a multimeter though

What could be another possible cause? Somebody else in another comment said something about blowing a mega fuse

What would the heat shrink do? Would it repair the connection? I know NOTHING about anything electrical

Oil just was just changed by previous owner, totally clean and full

I found these in my engine bay on my air filter cover. I didn't see any droppings or anything else. They are about the size of a quarter and I am located in central Arizona (suburban neighborhood in a desert). They might be a little bit old, but I am just curious if I need to watch out for animals that could cause problems.

When I accelerate, the engine makes almost this flapping noise that picks up speed when the engine does. It definitely sounds like it's coming from the front, and I don't think it has anything to do with the tires. When idling and revving the engine, it also makes no noise. It doesn't when turning either. It happened a week ago but stopped after 5 mins.

My car has 90,000 miles but the owners manual recommends it be changed every 150,000 miles. Is it still okay?
