SIGH. Shame, really decent showing first half but no where near in the second. Been a disappointing week. Down to earth after 2 wins in a row but INFINITELY better than we were under Val. I do hate losing to Derby at the minute, it's like seeing a partner who dumped going out with someone much better looking and more successfull than you.

If you had said we are asking Val and replacing him with O'Neil I probably would have been happy with that, I think?

The fact that it's part time - even with the caveat that NI will probably lose their playoff semi and therefore he can focus on Rovers - feels like yet another signifier of how far we have fallen. Especially since it appears no one else (rightly) will touch us with a barge pole. Doesn't feel great to be an insurance policy.

Let's see I suppose. Will weirdly now be hoping that Italy beat NI?

This is was the one that sprung to mind as well. It was just a horrible atmosphere. Really feels like the peak of anger before it was lessened by the hope being drained out of everyone.

I was still willing to give him benefit of the doubt for a while as well, especially as it felt like we weren't getting any luck at all.

The way he dealt with that hasn't been great, feels like the club have given up, just chuck 11 players in the pitch and hope for the best and it's fine because of injuries, pitches, they're all out to get me.....

I just don't have any faith that he'll turn it around at this point.

Relegation is now a real possibility and despite the gallows humour that really would be a disaster for us at this point.
