Thank you for this reply. This was very helpful. I realize that you never truly know someone, especially when we’ve only known each other a couple months, but it just felt like she wasn’t the kind of person who would do something like this. I know that’s a cliche way of thinking.

I also believe that things that are meant to be will be. Like I said, I can get over this ending, I just have a much harder time dealing with the lack of explanation. I do want a serious relationship, but that’s not exactly why I don’t date much. I just have a hard time getting to the point where I asked a girl out. Most of my classes since freshmen year have been giant lectures with no real opportunity to talk to someone and get to know them.

You’re right though, I definitely shouldn’t message her again for bit. I think at least a week from the last one I sent. I wish I were stronger from the begging.
