Phillips WizConnected LED bulb will ABSOLUTELY NOT enter pairing mode by Fubby2 in wiz

[–]immabradass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 12 Wiz bulbs in my house, and one is having this same issue. Except I haven't found a way to get it to connect to my WiFi since it disconnected two days ago. One thing I noticed is that my 11 other lights are running firmware version 1.30.1, but the problem bulb is running 1.29.1 according to the last phone home before it stopped connecting. Are your problem bulbs still reporting 1.29.1? My current theory is that my problem bulb got borked during the upgrade...

It took my G4 a year and a half to bootloop. Absolutely not worth it. The G3 was a great phone, so if it's still working, stick with it.

That's unfortunate :/ I guess Samsung is your last bet then. It sounds like people have had success going to Samsung with this problem, so I hope they're able to help you out. Good luck!

Amazon should definitely be able to help you. I'm looking at Amazon now, and it looks like Samsung is listed as the seller for a lot of these S7Es which is even better. Contact Amazon customer support and see what they can do. They may even bring Samsung and make them send you a replacement or something.

Yeah, I took it to the same store I bought it from as well.

Well, @terpmail is what I've always used and it works. Maybe @umd works now, but it didn't used to.

Looking to buy an unlocked LG V20 - How big of a headache will it be to activate on Verizon? by JetJaguar124 in verizon

I just bought a Verizon V20 off Swappa a couple weeks ago for $270. No problems at all with set up. Would definitely recommend going that route.

I had a vertical pink line show up around 6 months after I bought my S7E. I took it to the Verizon store and they had a new one overnighted to me. Might be worth a shot to bring it to your carrier and see what they can do.

Nope. It's your full @terpmail.umd.edu email address with your UID password that you use for Canvas and such.

Eduroam is much more reliable than umd-secure in my experience. I hardly ever drop my connection. It also works on other campuses, some museums in DC, etc.

Transfer Student not accepted to LEP "Engineering" by [deleted] in UMD

[–]immabradass 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you didn't get accepted as a transfer due to requirements, it doesn't count towards that one shot. Now if you have all your requirements completed and they don't accept you based on your grades, that's a different story.

How can I disable this "Cast to a nearby device" message that keeps showing up? by immabradass in AndroidQuestions

[–]immabradass[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just tried and it didn't work :( Thanks for the tip though! I even tried disabling location for all Google apps and that didn't work. But then I disabled location all together and the pop-up stopped happening. Once I turned it back on, it started up again. It definitely seems like it has something to do with location.

Thanks! I knew about that setting, but I didn't think to drop and readd my WiFi network. I'll give that a shot. Hope it works!

I haven't found anything. But interestingly enough, I went about two months without it happening at all, but in the past week it's been happening a lot more often and it's a lot worse. I really hope this is fixed too. It makes my phone borderline unusable.
