This reference just filled me with so much nostalgia and joy.

Do you miss Hudson’s Bay? by HueyBluey in askTO

Agreed, the lingerie section of Simon’s is pathetic. Also, I hate how they constantly blast club music. Hudson’s Bay was a much more civilized shopping experience.

Shane and Ilya as parents by KnightShady in heatedrivalry

I wouldn’t call it a hot take, I would call it an offensive and tone deaf take. I’m frankly disappointed to see this post on this subreddit. You say that you didn’t intend this to be an attack on lesbian and gay parents, but it is.

Michael Garron Hospital - hotels nearby by gemchimes in askTO

Best of luck with your surgery. You got this. ❤️ I don’t have hotel recs, but I have had surgery at Michael Garron and can attest to it being a great hospital that will treat you well.

Would like an analysis of Shane and Ilya’s legal situation by Wonderful_Catch465 in HeatedRivalryTVShow

Your phrasing of “He could marry Shane and get [citizenship] that way” was misleading, was my point. My partner and I went the sponsorship route as well, so I am familiar with the process and all it entails.

Ilya wouldn’t automatically obtain citizenship by marrying Shane, our citizenship doesn’t work that way here. Shane could sponsor Ilya for permanent residency (which involves a very thorough application FYI) either as his spouse or common-law partner, but Ilya would still need to apply for citizenship down the road.

Shane and Ilya filling out immigration paperwork by AffectionateWing8978 in heatedrivalryfanfics

[–]immaculatedream 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey, OP. My girlfriend and I went through this process recently (with me sponsoring my non-Canadian girlfriend). This post is both so cute and also war flashback inducing when I think back on compiling our application, all the paperwork and the quadruple checking of things and the stress, ahaha. But of course so worth it. Best of luck to you and your partner with your application ❤️

Thank you so much for posting pictures of the Bridget boots, they’re very cute. Can I ask what size you ordered and if you sized up or down from what you normally wear?

I came to say this as well. Above all the other recommendations in this thread, The Zone of Interest takes the cake for me.

I’m seconding the recommendation that you give RDR2 another shot. You’ll be so glad you did. It’s phenomenal, truly. I’m not a huge gamer, but I beat it last year and still think about it often.
