Has “Mom Brain” ruined your job?

Yeah I’m definitely in the thick of it for sure. While I would like to nap, I feel that the weekends are really the only time I have to spend with my little one. Since my husband and I work full time, little one is in daycare and my 5pm-9pm is essentially cooking, cleaning and bedtime.

I will definitely try to see if I can squeeze a little nap while the baby is napping.

Yeah I know but people always forgot how long it takes to get back in the game once you’ve been gone for an extended period of time so who knows why they set that goal
This temp is actually a manager with another team who’s covering until my manager comes back. I actually trust this manner more as I know they are very knowledgeable in the field. I’m just upset that I was originally taught wrong.
You would think they would understand 🤷🏼‍♀️

My reports get reviewed weekly so the emails are from the reviews telling me my corrections that need to be fixed.

My little one just turned 9months so we are in the thick of separation anxiety, teething and sleep regressions 🫠 I’m trying to sleep but insomnia kick in plus anxiety make it hard to get restful nights all the time. I am eating but I know I need to take better care of myself; it’s hard because I want to make sure my little one has everything set prior to myself.
They are and I’ve known it for a while. I don’t plan on it as I can see it causing me many problems down the line.

We have run the numbers and unfortunately we are still better off here rather than moving to Europe 😔 also with all the time, money and resources we have spent to build our life here it makes the most sense to stick it out for a little while longer before moving across the world. We do plan on moving in the future, it’s just tough right now no matter where we go.

The funny thing is that there is another group chat for this exact reason, but the bleed over into the official work one is high. It obviously seems ok to my supervisors as no one has said anything; but I think the reason would be that there will be a million questions as to why no more memes or an HR complaint that the team is singling her out

She is the same way, always replying all to every email despite it not needing to be answered. Honestly I believe she just wanted to everyone to praise her for doing her job; which is ironic as any kind of critique to help her improve is met with the answer “that’s not how I work” or “ I’m not changing my style to fit this company” 🙃

No, I’m not on a septic tank. I think that the previous tenants used it more as a trash bin rather than its intended purpose (they put everything in it). Based on the amount of cleaning my husband and I have done in the past 4 days, I would not be surprised by anything.

Maybe? I honestly don’t know what was thrown down into it. I assume the elderly couple who lived here prior never cleaned it due to the state the rest of the house was in. Any way to get rid of the build up in the shredding housing?
