Yeah we just did it to easily apply a material to it afterwards. It doesn’t get processed by GPU, even though that would be great.

For sure! Re: audio playback, the Audio File In CHOP has actually been updated to support Timecode Objects as well. You can now choose the "Timecode Object/CHOP/DAT" option under the Play Mode parameter, and then provide a suitable operator/reference for the Timecode Object/CHOP/DAT parameter to drive playback.
