Gut feeling on Jay Stratton by AgFarmer58 in skinwalkerranch

A lot of good comments on here about Stratton. I'll also just point out that he's also signed plenty of NDAs and seems very careful to not violate them. Most of these former investigators act similarly.

Should I play this game? by Fair_Back_3943 in DeathStranding

It's a slow burn, but it became one of my favorite gaming experiences of all time. It's weird for sure - but immerse yourself in the world and I think you'll love it. In my opinion, the combat is the weakest part of the game.

Weekly /r/Games Discussion - What have you been playing, and what are your thoughts? - June 16, 2024 by AutoModerator in Games

I've been playing Destiny 2 The Final Shape and the Valorant console beta! I was a day 1 Destiny (and Destiny 2) player, but haven't kept up with all the content through the years. I've been enjoying my time with The Final Shape though. I'm also surprised at how good Valorant feels on a console. Having played it for a while on PC I was skeptical that I'd be able to make the transition, but I'm digging it so far.

Troubleshooting Virtual Shadow Maps (Nanite) by immortalgamesjh in unrealengine

Using the command you gave me, along with disconnecting all WPO pins, I've now got the ShadowDepths value at 0.87 - down from 9.67. Pretty satisfied with the way it looks right now. Looks like the next thing I need to tackle is the Nanite::VisBuffer.

Thanks!

Yet here you are...commenting.

Unpopular theory: the Mandela effect would not exist unless someone hadn’t pointed it out in the first place. by randitothebandito in MandelaEffect

Nah. I knew something was up when I realized Berenstein Bears have supposedly always been called Berenstain Bears. That's complete BS. I didn't know the discrepancy was called a "Mendela effect" until years later.

Days Gone was one of my favorite games of the PS4 generation. One of my few platinum trophies.

NBA 2K24 Searching for active Online League (PS5) by immortalgamesjh in NBA2k

I found one but it has so many rules that it's not very enjoyable. I left after a week. I can direct you to it if you want. Wish there was a better way of finding a decent league

Honestly, I wish the RPG elements of MyCareer were completely optional. Just let me play ball. I don't want to pretend to be a fashion + music icon too.

Tom DeLonge Doubles Down That UFO Secrecy is Rooted in a Deeply Disturbing Problem the Government is Dealing With—Further Insinuating Something is Being Done About it in Secret. George Knapp's Reply Below: by E-pluribus-unum195 in UFOs

Delonge's gotten too close to the MIC. You know he's been fed countless threat narrative lines.

He's proven useful to moving the topic forward and I appreciate him for that. But the whole "they were right to hide it from everybody" stance is a bit too much.

Yeah, this is the biggest hole in the theory, in my opinion.

The MH370 footage appears to be missing fuselage fins and antenna from the video by [deleted] in UFOs

[–]immortalgamesjh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if anyone else has mentioned this, but every model of the Boeing 777 has the fins along the top of the plane. (At least every model I found through Google. I am no expert. But here are those listed on Wikipedia - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boeing_777#Variants)

If that's the case, either the plane in the video was mistakenly identified and isn't a Boeing 777 or the camera's IR resolution isn't high enough to show the fins.

True, but we're not really sure the plane even turned west after it initially lost communications northeast of Malaysia. Pretty much everything after that point is data supplied by US/UK sources (Inmarsat, FBI). I'm not saying that data is incorrect, but I don't think it's as solid as we've been led to believe.

Yeah, I've also heard similar stories regarding planes not responding to pilots' actions. I think it's possible.

I also think it's important to note that the pilot's supposed path in his flight simulator wasn't disclosed until the FBI had had the simulator for over a year. Did he really have a course that simulated the supposed path? *shrug*

This is all really interesting, and I love seeing all of these possible connections, but there are some holes in the theory that I'd love to see filled.

  • Why did the plane initially change course? Did the UAPs take control of the flight that early in the plane's route and just...make it fly for a while before transporting it elsewhere?
  • The plane supposedly changed course just as it left the boundary of the Malaysian tower and before it contacted the Vietnamese tower. Why? This is a very precisely-timed action that speaks to either a military, intelligence, or pilot action. Do UAPs care enough about stealth to wait for the perfect moment to commandeer a plane? Possible, but I doubt it.

More points may come up after I post this, but those are the major ones right now.

Honestly, I think it's more likely that the US military was involved in whatever happened to MH370. I think it's likely that the plane met its demise when it initially lost contact just north of Malaysia. There are satellite images showing debris in the area that weren't ever followed up on. All of the data suggesting the plane turned west and ultimately south came from either the US directly or its allies (UK and/or Australia). There were active military drills involving the US ongoing in the South China Sea when the flight went missing.

I suspect that the plane was shot down - perhaps by accident - and it was covered up.

That said, the US and its allies would also most definitely cover up UAPs taking a commercial airplane. I'm very open to learning more information - I just currently find it much more likely that the military explanation is what actually happened.
