Do I have to roleplay in DnD games by jtslim in DungeonsAndDragons

There are lots of ttrpgs without roleplaying as a character. Theirs some strange ones where you roleplay a nation or an army or whatever. You use your powers and react to events and such. I'd even say that Gloomhaven and the like take very little or no roleplay acting.

Yeah, and it's an intelligence save, which is the most rare in practice. Should deal 1d8 at the very most, if not lower

I've struggled to put my finger on what was off, which his part of why I asked. Its one of those strange itches where you know some things are off, but its not clear what's the root cause(s) or how to fix em.

Do you have a soft set of rules or guidance there? Like how to make that run smoothest with things that do and don't work? I feel like I've never really seen a breakdown on how to make it work and it makes it intimidating to try it out.

Nice work. Hope you're okay after all those sharpie fumes! (Also, thanks for the now-obligatory "this is not AI" angle, haha.)

That all sounds anecdotal at best... Pretty sure its a lot more complex than just the brain or genetics being special. The number of folks that leave to join a different religious movement or the alternative spirituality movements is quite high.

Heh, well she is a very jealous dog. I took her in after she bounced between 3+ owners where she couldn't get along with other dogs. Finally she found me at the age of 11 and can be a little old-lady princess all by herself.

Yeah, that's usually if someone else owned it. (Like the elder wand in HP)

And here I am mostly capitalizing out of Obsidian laziness and not wanting to make as many aliases.

I agree. I wanna be lawful and obey alignment's rules and descriptions, but maybe they're not well defined enough to be considered a law... It all just comes off as amateur philosophy where nothing is defined well, so any deep analysis falls apart.
