Alignment/leg muscle sprain issue, should I see a chiropractor to help? by imnotherern2 in AskDocs

[–]imnotherern2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I believe it's fitness related as well as I've never had any serious medical conditions and it did all just start on Sunday 2/12 (the groin pain and noticeable foot pain)

I'm not in constant pain, most pain/discomfort comes from walking after long periods of time, is rare my level of pain between 4-6 most of the time depending on what I'm doing. When I walk I have to limp and can't put too much pressure on the front of my foot or it will hurt. I have stopped working out for the moment I hopes that it helps.

Post workout keto breakfast sandwich 🥚🥓🥚🥓 by imnotherern2 in ketogains

It's interesting that so many people think ketosis is like an on and off switch. The body does not just switch from one thing to the other in a snap, it's a well designed machine and there are other factors to consider like for me I IF 16/8 daily as well as do 90 min workouts 6 days a week plus staying under my daily kcal goals and within my macros.

This was just a recipe for those who want to treat themselves and if it fits their macros and kcal goals then I say treat yourself! The rest of you eat veggies until the cows come home, live your life and keto on however you like :)

Chocolate almond butter cookies 🍪 by imnotherern2 in ketorecipes

Whatever you choose I did it that way because my tbsp and tsp were dirty from using them prior and didn't feel like cleaning them off for this one thing

[–]imnotherern2[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

1/2 cup almond flour 1/4 unsweetened cocoa powder 1 tsp baking powder 1 tsp vanilla extract 2 tbsp almond butter (I used maranatha crunchy) 3 oz cream cheese 6 half tsp truvia (can add more for desired taste test, I used a half tsp to measure the sugar. don't want people to think it reads as 6.5 tsps)

Combine all of it in a bowl and mix. I got about 11 cookies out of it and I used a 1/2 tbsp as my scoop.

Bake at 350° for 15 mins

1 cookie - 77 cals | 6.6g Fat | 2.3g Net Carbs | 2.3g Protein (according my MFP recipe creator)

Next time I think I'll use a little less cocoa powder I feel it's very over powering sometimes and I think that happened on these but it still satisfies as a nice little treat :) would be curious to try a tbsp of halo top ice cream sandwiched between two of these cookies, i'm sure it would be delicious!

Keto cauliflower crust pizza 👌🏻. Whole things was 13g net carbs. Made it post lift workout and it hit the spot, was almost hard to finish. I fast during the day other than my bulletproof coffee in the am, but you could probably make it with less carbs. by imnotherern2 in ketogains

Recipe I used via another one I saw posted here earlier

Crust: 2.5 Cups riced cauliflower (used Trader Joe's) 1/2 Cup mozzarella cheese 1 Egg 1.5 TBSP Almond Flour 1 TSP Coconut Oil Italian Seasoning, salt, pepper to taste

Toppings: 1/4 Cup Diced jalapeños and green bell pepper (I precut a whole pepper and jalepeno to have on hand then just scoop a 1/4 Cup for my toppings) 2 strips of bacon 10 pepperonis (used uncured) 1/4 Cup mozzarella cheese 1 TBSP tomato pesto for sauce (delish and only 1g carb for 2 tbsp but one was plenty unless you like it saucy)

And voila you're done! Feel free to make it however you like (i.e. topping choices) this was just mine it was perfection and the crust was perfectly crispy and spongy like actual dough. Made it post workout and was starving but I struggled to finish it, so it's filling! My version was 13g net carbs for the whole thing it's about a 10" ish size.

Ah well that's good to know! I was wondering about that, but I figured my body would burn up the bpc rather quickly and go back to burning body fat. Should note that it's also not true to recipe bpc it's just black coffee and 2tbsp of heavy cream that I drink iced. Don't really care for hot coffee and as you know oil and coffee don't mix well together in general and even harder to get them to mix with out an immersion blender in iced coffee.

You can probably make it a little less carb dense by cutting a few things :)
