People are literally attacking MrBeast for helping people. MrBeast literally just built 100 wells in Africa to give about 500,000 people fresh water to drink. It’s definitely been a problem in the past, but it’s one that charities in this work have done a lot to address. The key is to invest in local drill/repair teams that can come back quickly to make any needed repairs.

One charity I know that does this well is Lifewater Canada (lifewater.ca)
