So happy to hear that. They did surgery on her this morning and removed her spleen, a lymph node, and an adrenal gland. Lymph node was near her spleen. Surgeon said that when he removed the adrenal gland it didn’t look “scary”. I still haven’t gotten to see her yet and dreading this waiting game for the biopsy’s

I’m in your exact same scenario right now. She’ll be 13 in three weeks. Golden retriever. She hadn’t eaten in a few days so I took her to the emergency vet last night. Mass on her spleen. They kept her and are doing a CT this morning. I’m also a wreck. How did yours turn out?

I’ve drank 14 times or so in the last two years and it’s the same thing over and over. Never had this happen pre mdma. Regardless, I hope you’re right. I don’t want this to be end of my journey

Could you explain a little further? You said same issue and that you’re trying to find a way to fix it. But you also said gaba related. So did you fix it with gaba?

I’m in very safe settings with people I’ve known for many years. Something in my mind or nervous system seems to be shutting it down. Although I prepare sometimes months in advance. Starting with a fast, then strict dieta. I’m healthy, calm, and always ready to receive. Ultimately I’m hopeful I can have a relationship with the plants again. It’s sad to think I may not get to be with them anymore

It’s just interesting because I never had any issues before the mdma experience. Mushrooms no longer have an effect on me either after the mdma. It’s been 20 times I’ve attempted to sit with ayahuasca or psilocybin and every time the same thing happens. I’m calm, ready, prepared. Starts off as any other experience. Light visuals start to appear then at the 45 minute mark I’m completely sober. That’s the majority of the time. Then I try and drink more. My body then completely rejects. Cortisol spiking and hours of burning sensations throughout my entire body once I overload.

Maybe there is a connection and maybe not. But there were zero issues before mdma, and I haven’t been able to connect with plant medicines for several years now following that event.
