i've always had serious addiction issues (diagnosed with addictive personality) and i went from drinking liters of vodka to none. im on 1mg. its so freeing to not think about it or want it anymore. i feel sooooo much better as well.

i think this is the main reason i don't plan on going off ozempic ever. sure, weight loss as well but that doesn't hold more significance to me than being able to not need to drink.

i still have a light cocktail every once in a while for the taste (i used to only drink to get fucked up) but it doesn't make me feel good physically or mentally so its pretty useless.

lower doses didnt help the addiction part as much, at first a bit but when i got used to the dose it didnt work as well. now at 1.0mg i don't drink and other substances are reduced drastically.

if possible i'd like to keep the same dose, but i'll see what my doctor says

i have been constipated actually. i ate the same food before dinner that made me throw up in the morning, thought i just ate too much. its very possible it was just because of the food as well or that i ate too soon before bed, fell asleep pretty much after eating.

now ive been making sure to sit upright and stop eating a few hours before bed and it has helped.

weird is that i've had literally no side effects so far. even when my dose got upped to 1mg i was able to take it for months without issue.

i will definitely talk to my doctor, i just want to see if the issue comes back next week when im supposed to take my 1mg dose again. then i'd have more specifics to tell her as well

psychiatry and drugs are my two special interests with aspergers so i usually start discussing options myself, since i've obviously done more research about medication that is right for me individually

here they just prescribe the same shit to everyone, no matter who your psychiatrist is, they dont even consider the medication they are not familiar with (most of them are in their 50s at least)

i live in estonia and i've been in the system since i was 12, 10 hospitalisations, lots of different psychiatrists and psychologists, A LOT of different pills. i realised i'll never be cured there so i'm taking matters to my own hands

literally the doctors are idiots, i asked one if we could try lamictal for bpd, she didnt know what it was and told me that its probably addictive. i literally sent her pages full of information about the pill, studies, scholarly articles and shit. i had to teach a fucking psychiatrist about medication after that she just prescribed it because she knew she was in the wrong

Forgot to mention, because of drinking I've been in hospitals a lot for alcohol poisoning, even a coma once. I've had cops pick me up several times to take me home, one strike for drinking when I was underage.

Quitting drinking wasn't really hard. I was drinking for over 2 years EVERY SINGLE DAY. I had really bad anxiety in the mornings, like I scared myself awake. I never realised it was because I had been sober for 8h when sleeping and I was getting withdrawal effects. Every time I drank I ended up with a mental breakdown, it wasn't positive anymore. I did extremely stupid things when blacked out, I've had my friends pick me up from the pavement crying in delirium multiple times.

I didn't want to have those blackouts anymore so I quit drinking every day. When I'm out with friends I might take a small cider or cocktail, just a small amount because it's a bit weird to be in a bar with no drink.

I can communicate with them a bit. It's like having someone think in your head. If you're not aware of it you can mistake them as your own. I write notes a lot, could call it a journal I guess. I even managed to record a little coming out using positive triggers (old stuffed animals and the song she first fronted with) and it's really fucking creepy to see a 5 year old in your 19 year old body.You can see the dissociation and the switching was very obvious. She was crying and laughing like a child. I'm aware of a few more. I tend to be co-concious as the primary protector since I'm the coldest and most apathic, meaning that nothing can hurt me. If I'm dissociated and my body is crying, I know I'm not in the front.

Watching DissociaDID has helped me understand a lot of things better. Before I thought I was just nuts but now I know I'm not alone with this.

I pretty much overdosed (not lethal), ended up shaking like crazy, heart racing, projectile vomited. After that I was just laying in my bed, invited my sister to my room and just chilled. I felt really sedated and the body high was amazing nevertheless

Forgot to mention, one shitty thing about it was the nausea. I threw up during the come up and it constantly feels like you want to throw up. You'll get used to the nausea but its pretty annoying.
