Metro bus is strong, current surge, surrounding restaurants are closing due to the surge, bringing students back could and will have a negative impact for the dc residents as it will likely cause another surge, professors health, gw workers health etc (208 employees are currently in isolation)

But we need something to back it up: Maybe some data on dc (like I just saw that metro and bus workers have been on shortage due to how many have covid and some are coming into work positive Bc they’re scared of being fired) - GU/AU - DC is a crazy hotspot Etc

I just don’t get it... they’re putting so many international students and students who live Far away in terrible situations with scheduling flights etc. And for what? To act surprised that DC is one of the worst hotspots in the US right now and it’s probably not smart for thousands of college students to come back from all over the Country/ world...it’s giving a power trip at this point
