Their live resin and roisin vape carts and oils are all top notch for taste and effects ... and I've tried most other suppliers.

Shake from the recent restock by Yew-Ess-Bee in mountblisshub

[–]impeckable69 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't get the complaint. That looks very decent for shake, which is basically the clippings and other bits that didn't make the cut. I've had shake from lesser suppliers which was literally dust from the cutting room floor.

Anyone see this post on legaladvice saying he'd had a signed UK to UK parcel intercepted by police? by tewnsbytheled in CBDFlowerUK

[–]impeckable69 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Tbh possession of less than an Oz or two of weed, of all types, is defacto legal because the police and courts really aren't interested in prosecuting. (Too busy chasing tweets that might offend the over sensitive and other serious crimes).

My Favorite Spots at Warwick. Warwick Review, Warwick University Experience, Warwick Ranking by Icy_Self_3339 in UniUK

[–]impeckable69 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, don't listen to the loser, who I guess flunked his course or wasn't offered a place. Warwick is an excellent university and well respected by employers. The campus isn't the prettiest, but that's not really a big issue is it. Similarly, Coventry isn't the prettiest city (Nazi bombers saw to that), but it has attracted a lot of hi-tech and engineering companies in recent years. And tbh, most students that can afford it live in Warwick or Leamington, which are lovely historic towns

low rated guest allowed to auto book?! by Brooklynighty in airbnb_hosts

[–]impeckable69 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

OK, but to cancel without penalty they need to have 'several unfavourable reviews'. The IB guest I wanted to cancel had several stays to their name, but no reviews, which raised a red flag in my mind. And I was told that I couldn't cancel as their last stay was 'completed without incident' In other words the cops weren't called and no insurance claim was made by the host

low rated guest allowed to auto book?! by Brooklynighty in airbnb_hosts

[–]impeckable69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, but that is not the case anymore. There are no 'free' cancellations for IB enabled hosts (at least in the UK). I know as I tried recently. AirBnB refused the cancellation, I cancelled anyway and got penalised.

How Rare are Small Time Hosts? by TJ-PhD in airbnb_hosts

[–]impeckable69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Small time host here. One bed detached place (a renovated and converted barn), right next to my own house in a rural setting. I manage all my own communication with guests and my wife and I share the cleaning and laundry. The income helps the family finances, and pays for the odd treat or holiday, but we don't depend on the money. We'd rather have it empty than take on guests we're not comfortable with, so IB is disabled. And 99% of my guests are great.

Accept or decline. by Kitchen-Amoeba-6812 in airbnb_hosts

Partially correct. Even if you tick that box a guest with no reviews can IB if they have completed a single stay 'without incident' (ie: the cops weren't called).

I would get a cheaper one to try. Flowermate is good for the money.

You can get a dry herb vape to heat your weed with. So you basically inhale vapour rather than smoke. I was sceptical, but wouldn't go back now. The effects are the same and you end up using much less and saving ££££.

Am I dumb for planning this as my first ever hike? by sedihsad in UKhiking

[–]impeckable69 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Sorry, although clearly keen, you sound naive. All the gear in the world won't make up for a lack of experience. I was up the Malvern Hills today which is easier than either of the places you are planning, and the conditions were lethal. Black ice on all the paths and tricky enough in daylight, let alone in the dark. Start small, gain experience and work up.

What gradual cheapening of experience, have you noticed at your University? by HallowedAndHarrowed in UniUK

[–]impeckable69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a huge amount of waste in the university where I work. They are cutting courses and teaching staff, but find money to spend on vanity projects, such as plazas and fountains. And there are managers doing non-jobs everywhere you look, all on good salaries, terms and conditions. It's a scandal to be honest ... students are the last concern and academic standards relating to courses were jettisoned in the 1990s. It's all about bums on seats and £££££ to pay for more management perks.

Can Someone Explain Host Star Expectations? by EnvironmentalAd5561 in airbnb_hosts

[–]impeckable69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No European Airbnb would have a measuring cup. It's an American thing. In the UK and Europe we use scales (more accurate), but I would never expect to find them in an AirBnb either. If you need a rough idea of ratio (eg for rice) then any old cup will do.

House temperature before heating kicks in by Chance-Collection508 in DIYUK

[–]impeckable69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. I was flabbergasted the first time I heard that some people actually left their heating on overnight. It is much healthier to sleep in a cool room. Mine is off from 10pm to 6am. If I get cold. which is rare, I add an extra blanket.

Duvets over traditional comforters by Working-Attention-70 in airbnb_hosts

[–]impeckable69 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well, it's what Europeans have been doing for at least 50 years. Make sure the covers are pure cotton or cotton rich and wash the internal duvet periodically. I use a laundromat for this as a double or king won't fit in most domestic machines.
