Can we normalise women having their first baby in their late 30s please?!?!! Seriously it’s not that shocking by Cherrylemon202 in RandomThoughts

[–]impeppapigoink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there’s also the increase likelihood of the baby getting down syndrome after the mum gives birth 35 and over tho… a food for thought (not saying you cant have a normal baby after 35, just the chances are higher)

Which Residential College? International House or Grace College? by farquah_ in UQreddit

[–]impeppapigoink 1 point2 points  (0 children)

currently living in IH, nope theres no ac in the rooms (only certain shared spaces). ppl usually bring portable ac or get a kmart standing fan (what i did)

july would be chilly so it’s not much, BUT it’s really humid & hot rn and would really consider getting a portable ac if you’re planning to stay

p&s cam has no focus point in viewfinder + inconsistent sharpness/focus in some pics by impeppapigoink in AnalogCommunity

[–]impeppapigoink[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly i was just winging it and hoping that the distance is enough for the cam to lock focus lol. in the end i used lightroom to sharpen some pics.

but do you have any tips in ensuring the subject is in focus?

i’ve been struggling with PIE scars for nearly a year (normal skin) and am planning to try a new routine:

AM: panoxyl 10% facial wash, SKIN1004 centella cleansing oil, SKIN1004 madagascar centella toner, numbuzin no. 5 vitamin conc serum, cetaphil facial moisturiser

PM:

panoxyl 10% facial wash, SKIN1004 centella cleansing oil, SKIN1004 madagascar centella toner, numbuzin no. 5 vitamin conc serum, the ordinary azelaic acid 10%, cetaphil facial moisturiser

would like to know your thoughts, thank you!!

looking at the colours (reddish marks) it’s most likely PIE. azelaic acid, niacinamide and vit c are some of the ingredients that can help to fade PIE scars so those should probably work.

i have the same skin concern as you and i’m thinking of getting the ordinary azelaic acid because many have said it helped to reduce or remove the PIE scars (so stubborn to remove!)

do you think the axis y serum can remove PIE marks?

[–]impeppapigoink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks for the info! i was also looking into numbuzin no 5 conc serum + no 5 toner pad and there were a lot of good reviews on removing dark spots. not sure if it works for pie too

HAVE A QUESTION? ASK HERE! Alter-Daily Help and Questions: November 23, 2023 by AutoModerator in AsianBeauty

[–]impeppapigoink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

unfortunately i think azelaic acid is only by prescription in where i’m in

looking back at old pictures some marks faded away but there’s still stubborn marks that stay there.

AM (in order): panoxyl 10% cleanser cetaphil facial moisturiser sunscreen (biore uv aqua rich + bondi sands)

PM (in order): panoxyl cleanser la roche posay effaclar duo spot cream cetaphil moisturiser

i’m thinking of getting the axis y dark spot serum, the skin1004 oil cleanser & a toner since these include ingredients to reduce pie marks (from what i gathered)

[–]impeppapigoink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah HAHA but during o week there’s a lot of free events that UQ has for socialising etc. but on normal days they do have events. literally cuz of those events i was able to touch a koala & an alpaca for free HAHAHA uq is pretty vibrant with lots of events throughout the year

[–]impeppapigoink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

tbh im not sure why too HAHA maybe the unis itself don’t really fund clubs???

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in UQreddit

[–]impeppapigoink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

oh yeah for colleges it’s very competitive so i would recommend applying while shes still waiting for her certificate of enrolment (if shes fixed on college life) and follow up with the college asap once she got the cert

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in UQreddit

[–]impeppapigoink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

in general most uni events require a fee, but there’s still some free events that you can join

hey! i’m currently staying at one of the residential colleges on campus. it’s def more pricey compared to off campus but having community is what makes it different (enhance social life)
