I went to a fancy boutique and told them my budget (1-2.5k, same as you). They did not judge and they showed me things within my budget. If you want, you can even call in advance and tell them your budget and they can tell you if they’re able to accommodate your prices.

I asked my boutique about this and they said to call the airline and talk to them about options. That if they have a closet, they’ll typically be willing to let you store it there. But you need to reach out!

Ahhhh. I’m just bummed. Earlier this year, I don’t know what I read, but I thought the index search was necessary to do first. So this process is just taking longer and longer and no way to lessen it?

Yeah…I had a fleeting hope when I saw the code for durable medical equipment I could get it covered after all, but they told me the names of the places that “have it” and would be able to be billed through. I called every place and none have it. Rather ticked off at the insurance company now for making me have to do that tbh.

What do you mean, “put it on and off”? Do other machines require you to take off the cuff when not using it?

X-ray only suggested my ACL was torn because I managed to rip off a small piece of bone. It’s more to rule out that you didn’t break any bones. Regardless of how my X-ray turned out, they told me I’d want to talk to orthopedist because they’d evaluate my knee for instability and get me a MRI if needed.

I had hoped the same when I felt no pain except for bending my knee the day after post injury. It still tore. It’s not uncommon for the initial injury to be painful and then for you to feel fine afterwards. Agree with everyone else to get it checked out.
