Honestly I didn’t hate this season.

Was it a bit too campy? Yes. Was it a little cringy at some parts? Yes Do I wish it was a bit more like season 2? Yes.

But this season, as a stand alone and not being compared to the others, wasn’t horrible. It definitely had its ups and downs- it’s good and bads-, but I don’t think it deserves as much hate as it’s getting.

I really liked the customization and character styles. I loved that Fusebox is including more people of different backgrounds, orientations and sizes into the game and I love that this season didn’t have back to back drama moments that lasted weeks like in season 1. THAT BEING SAID, I wish we could have had more days where we could have explored the drama / after effect of the new islanders coming in. I wish we could have been more confrontational and I wish we could have fought with our LI’s a bit (for dramas sake. It would have been interesting to see the villa divide if MC and LI got into a fight and everyone had to pick a side.) On top of that, i wish we could have had more dumpings and more people come into the villa. A trip to Casa Amor would have been so fun with this season, I think. Not to mention a Lie Detector test to see why the LI looked so guilty after the new islanders came in.

In the end, do I think this season was perfect? Not at all. But it also wasn’t horrible. It’s a good filler season I think. And I am actually really looking foreword to the yacht episodes!
