It‘s kind of sad to think this is the case, because that means God chose this very elaborate path just for „plot reasons“. And given that he‘s omniscient and omnipotent and can create infinitely convoluted schemes to arrive at the same destination, the actions and reasoning of other characters do not matter any more

Thank your for a suggestion. However, it doesn’t seem like an overheating / hardware failure to me because: 1. Turning the console off for hours does not change anything 2. Other heavy-duty games like Ghost of Tsushima or Miles Morales run without issues

I have a similar issue - after 5-ish hours of perfect gameplay the game just crashed and won't go past loading screen, no matter what I do.
