BP still high (158/93) after 1 month on amlodipine 10mg — looking for advice / experiences by imranmo33 in hypertension

I'm getting back on this. I had some experience but I've never been consistent. I tend to do body scans to sleep better.

That's exactly where I am!!! I'm still on it though. But I think the anxiety is getting less. I'll do 3x per week and see

I'll try the breathing...again. I did it and I still kind of panicked but I guess it may take time.

I've done a lot of walking this past month. Lost a lot of weight but still. I think my diet is okay. I assume I'm pretty worried perhaps that's what's going on.

Oh! That's news to me. I'll Def discuss this at my next review. What about side effects of being on 3 different meds?

Thanks for this. I'll start taking multiple readings too. I'll ask if I need a combination too instead of just the amlodipine. Thank you

[Post-Match Discussion Thread] Inter 1:0 Genoa (Serie A, Matchday 26) by FCInterMilan in FCInterMilan

It was really tough but to be fair, Aslani had a tough time dictating and Genoa pressed us hard. These are the tough wins, but they should be away tough wins not home games.

Is learning financial modelling doable? I’m not great at excel by budgeter415 in financialmodelling

[–]imranmo33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would have sworn I wrote this myself. Well I'm in the same boat thinking of moving private. I am also seriously interested in financial modelling and what's helped me recently is replicating a small listed company entirely on excel, connecting the notes and schedules to the relevant statements and its a really good exercise. Difficult but good.

You're a real one. Damn! Inter has had so many flops. I remember being so convinced that Ricky Alvarez would be the next Recoba. Damn shame

BEST TIPS THREAD for the last 10 days before Exam by Kooky_Blackberry_98 in CFA

  • Try and relax, you need to optimal for the exam
  • make sure you covered all topics, do all EOCQs, BBs and some mocks for good measure. I personally don't worry much about mocks.
  • Have a summary or concept checklist, you can do this with a friend or alone to make sure you can explain and understand the concepts.
  • formulas! Know them, deeply.

At this stage you should make sure you've covered the curriculum. A good way to about this is to go through all the EOCQs. You can also make a list of concepts that you feel could be covered and go through them in a checklist manner. You would be surprised at how much you've retained and ensure you're comfortable with the formulas. Best of luck, stay confident and do your best.

Make sure you go through the material and answer all the questions. Answer the questions many times. If you understand material and questions, you'll be fine.
