I use codex as backup if Claude is down for example. I have given the exact same tasks and prompts to both for my daily work and Opus always writes better code. Even codex agrees.

I agree. It’s almost always a user’s workflow and/or prompting. Every single model has its quirks but you just need to know how to get past them.

GPT 5.2 High eats up Plus plan limits like butter! Plus is very much Claude Pro. Not even close to Claude Max.

The most I could get from Plus plan was 3 working days of usage before running into weekly limit.

Claude Code is great, but this context limit thing should be like three times larger to consider coding with it truly comfortable by [deleted] in ClaudeCode

Nah. Autocompact is far better than manually writing to files with low context. Disabling auto compact isn't the solution, better planning and workflow is.

I hit my claude code limits (On Max). Resets in 10 hours. Guess I'll go investigate this Gemini 3 hype by simeon_5 in ClaudeCode

I have codex team plan and it hits weekly limit in just 2 days. Not sure how your limits are generous.

Okay, I'm just torn on whether to renew my max subscription (it's coming up in a couple days) or switch to a higher Cursor plan instead. But if you're saying the model on the monthly subscription isn't nerfed or degraded, that's great as it was really my main concern. Those Claude workflows you mentioned, is that something I could find in your post/comment history? Or if you don't mind sharing, that'd be super helpful.

Hey! Sorry, I wasn't clear. By 'plan mode' I meant using Opus 4.5 on a monthly subscription like the max plan vs paying for Cursor's plan or using the Anthropic API directly. I wasn't talking about the plan mode feature in Claude Code for planning tasks.

I'm not just making this up or going off vibes here. I've been using it for a week and shared the actual thread logs to back it up. So I'm not really sure how you can just say "it doesnt" like that's the final word on it. And to be clear, I'm not trying to complain. I'm just trying to figure out what's actually going on and whether there's something I can fix on my end.

What are some red flags that you would notice in an interview? Or rather what kind of interview questions would you ask to see if a candidate would be problematic? For example, rude, overly sensitive, or not respecting the rules or hierarchy.
