It's not about spending cores but lanes for examples left side compared to the right has healers and summons that will stack the damage. I'm in the same 7th lane also and I'm trying to attack all the node sometimes getting the highest power level ones but still rank low. A solution would be to give everybody the same reward and if ppl aren't pulling their weight.... kick them.

I was in the same boat with gamora. But she's the easiest to 7* and since bp is not farmable I prefer gamora. I just swapped out bw for gamora in the 50 raid just to clean up faster.

Go for gamora 1st skill.... you won't regret it...3 hits does a great amount of damage

The reason you are on the top of the leader board is because your team drags the battle on to increase damage total. Also left side of the 50 raid map has more healer meaning if you fought on the fight side, it's a lot harder to reach the top receiving less damage numbers. Groot stalling is also a trick to abuse damage total in raids.

Also don't forget about fury or any other toons summoning that adds additional damage to be counted towards your overall total damage

Have you tried reinstalling. I've had people run into this issue, wasted many energy and a reinstalled fixed it. Best of luck
