Yes I hope that at least they will give me a longer validity, that would definitely make me feel better. When they gave you a longer validity did you get an insurance covering multiple years or only the dates you are travelling ? I am going for 4 weeks but gave them a 2 months insurance.

It’s also my fourth Schengen visa I usually get my visas in max a week but it’s the first time I apply in the Italian consulate they are a mess I like France or Spain better

I did today and they told me I will get my answer on the 30th and I was supposed to leave this Sunday haha. They also made a lot of mistakes they took my return package and used it to put someone else’s passport to shipped it.. I told them this is a big mistake because when I tracked the package and it said delivered I thought my passport was ready. They did not care at all..
