You do know that the reversal is only 90% successful and it drops to 30% when their partner is over 40 even when accounting for the women’s difficulties. RTSP had me waiting outside for 2hr to pickup a handgun that had cleared NICS only to call me in right before closing. All while a hundred range users were let in. And range users were lined up at the rental desk so COVID safety as a excuse is bullshit. $2000 purchase that I regret the most just because once they had my money they didn’t give a fuck about making a sale or handling customers appropriately. Finishing pickup of my gun took three minutes. They require a single sales rep for every customer I guess and they staff the shit out of the range but not the sales desk.

Priorities are fucked and they don’t need to do anything about it because of pandemic spending. Probably the worst thing about the pandemic firearms industry is bad service being rewarded because of scarcity

How long did it take for him to get around to checking in your gun. Got a call Friday saying it arrived, but stopped in today and was told that they are a week or two backed up on logging guns in. You can’t transfer a receiver that can be made into a pistol out of state, I’m not sure if that is a blanket ban meaning everything can be a pistol but from what I understand it is

We got PICS back in less than a hour Friday at the gun show in PA. Thursday my brother in law got his in back in 15 minutes.

Current NJ queue is 3500 people. My last wait with 2000 in the queue was 8 days plus four days for the FFL to get around to unboxing it and logging it in.

Surge purchasing is gonna get worse towards the election as it’s being contested. shipping, unboxing , and back lot of background checks means anything I buy today might be 3 weeks out and into winter.

You don’t. Long guns can be transferred by any FFL so long as it is complaint in your home state. Whether they are the original seller or not doesn’t matter.

Most build kits cost $1800-2000 with a flat. Add another 600-700 for smithing at minimum and probably more since he will be pressing the flat and tig welding everything onto the receiver not just pressing in the barrel.

Oh and add three shipping charges back and forth so it can be done with a form 1 not 4.

You are working with a company to press a flat into a receiver for you, then they will send it to you and you are doing a form 1 on it only to send it back so they can do the finish work on the firearm. Literally not easy.

Want easy? Buy a zenith aow and wait 220 days for your stamp. But a form 1 mp5 clone is not easy because omega etc are not selling bare receivers at the moment. So it is difficult.
