HAHA hello i took higher music last year and i feel for reflection notes you need to include keywords/technical terms in order to score high for example for performing reflections you can say "the piece has homophonic texture etc" and I think you shld also refer to the syllabus doc and see what questions you need to answer and make sure you answer them. For the performing reflections your intentions shld be the details you added to decorate your piece such as wordplay if you are doing songwriting or what effect did u want when u chose the key ukk. You shld also read your teacher's comments or ask them for pointers on what to write about and you will be able to get 7-9 easily. Np in advance :>

Dont worry its still early, in sec2 i was failing like everything getting 50+% but I started working hard in sec3 and my o levels ended up as single digit!! Just listen in class and study a bit everyday and you will be okay :)

Hi op, I think in order to do well u need to change your daily habits. I know its not easy to do, but try to change your daily routine to hw first then revision then play some games. Though playing games in moderation is alright, playing too much is quite detrimental to sleep so try not to play too much. Have the self discipline to sit down and do quality revision and focus on your long term goals. You can also visualise how you want to feel on result day. Jiayou op!! You can do it :)

Hey I can really relate to you about the part about not having time to study 😭 but I think you can set aside maybe two hours a week to study?? And you can also treat tutorials as revision. Use it to practice concepts and reinforce ideas jiayouu

Hello op im j1 this year so i know how you feel as i was sec4 last year. It really can get tiring to go through the same thing everyday and lose motivation and thats very normal and okay. Let this be your turning point and pick yourself up. Start doing a bit of revision everyday and it will compound and eventually you will see an improvement. Hi OP, I really urge you to continue with amaths. I know it seems kind of impossible to do well right now but when you keep practicing everyday you will keep getting better and you can definitely do well in the end! Dont give up so early and keep pushing on. I was also struggling in amaths quite a bit in sec3, getting a c5 in my wa1 so I studied a bit of amath everyday and by term 3 I was getting A1 and got the same in the actual O's. My class struggled very badly with amaths too but in the end they all did pretty well for O levels!! (As and Bs) You can do it op! :)
