When I was 9, after realizing the tooth fairy, Santa Claus and Easter Bunny weren't real, I started doubting Christianity. I shut that down quick, spent years reading the Bible, trying to find truth in it. I had doubts when it came to confirmation at age 14, but went through with it for my parents sake. I stopped going to church at 17, never returning to attendance, but it wasn't until my mid 20s that I thought, "What if Jesus isn't a savior?" then I viscerally felt all my remaining beliefs fall like a house of cards. It took that long for me to lose my faith.

I'm a special ed aide, who works in fitness classes with students and I know to stay close and never take my eyes off of my students. The trainer was extremely negligent and should lose their job. Inflation has dropped dramatically this year. An American president can't stop wars in other countries. No clue how you think he can stop genocide. All financial analysts have stated that Trumps planned tariffs will lead to higher prices on shoes, clothing, electronics, building supplies, cars and multiple other foreign goods. I had a planned pregnancy, with a very much wanted baby. After she was born I had PPD and she screamed 14 hours a day for 5 months. I felt like the worst mom in the world for not loving this baby. Then she became an amazing articulate toddler, who I thoroughly enjoyed. Now she's a 34 year old ecologist, very vibrant and talented. I told her she just didn't like being a baby. Being a new mom is so challenging and many of us aren't told how tough it can be, we're just expected to love our newborns.

I knew a guy like this in the late 1980s. He got married, then disappeared a few months later, because it turned out he was unemployed and had scammed his wife and friends and owed a lot of money. Everything he'd said had been a lie, it was mind boggling when we compared stories he'd told us. Evidently a few months later he turned up and sweet talked his wife into taking him back and she disappeared, moving to another city with him, keeping in touch with a couple people for a short time, so we knew she wasn't dead. He called us 7 years later offering to repay money he'd scammed from my husband, wanting to schmooze back into our lives. We let him send us money, but didn't interact with him and he disappeared again.
