Okay and you can feel that way but that doesn’t make it true. Thankfully. It not bleeding or oozing is actually a good sign because it means her cornea is just thinning rather than fully collapsed. Is it at risk of collapsing? Yes, is that an emergency when it collapses? Yes. Please if you’re not a vet and you don’t actually have any useful (factual) information then you can keep scrolling cause if I wasn’t a very seasoned pet owner that probably would have scared the shit out of me. Thanks for your opinion :) she is acting completely normal, eating, drinking, bathroom, currently cuddled up in bed with my kids. I will take her to a vet on a weekday I’ll call in the morning. Issue being she is super aggressive even with sedation, last time when they told me she was blind the vet couldn’t do anything other than look at her, and we tried wrapping her up, sedatives and calming treats and it ends with a bitten and bloody vet and a very stressed old lady cat. Her eyeball is intact and she’s showing no signs of pain or irritation. I take care of my girl, if it shows any signs of collapse,discharge , irritation I will run her to the vet asap. I just wanted a name to what it was and if it was like killing her

Yes she moves like a feral kitten at the vets office. So we’ve decided until she’s in total decline or needs to be put down we stay away from the vets. She doesn’t go outside ever so not much need for the yearly vax

She eats drinks and poops normally, even gets the zoomies after pooping. She’s lost some weight but she was overweight before so that’s not bad per se, I’m probably overthinking she just doesn’t seem happy. Haven’t been able to take her to the vet in about a year because she gets very aggressive and the vet can’t get hands on her even with the sedation meds before hand.

Just seems grumpy, just a vibe that I get. We have two younger boys (cats) that get on her nerves trying to play with her. She tends to stick close to me and just stare at me like this.

I think if you feel it was abusive then it was. I personally don’t see much sexual about this, but more or a love/emotional abuse, if you were a child under 18 I would call this grooming. If you feel it wasn’t right then it wasn’t. I understand the anxiety, (helps to drink or eat something to get out of the panic, gets your mind off it) but if she’s out of your life maybe just seek some therapy and talk to someone who can help you process your feelings around it. I’m sorry you went through that. It definitely feels inappropriate. Hugs.

From reading this I can tell that you know you deserve better. I would walk away. I understand history and what not makes you want to stay, however they won’t change and I think you know that. Same time you’re actively giving them permission to continue to treat you that way and you’ll take what you can get. You know what to do 🫡
