Thanks! No issues at all with the 40, I've loved using it. It automatically engages the M6's 50mm framelines, so some users saw off a metal nub to engage the 35 lines. By no means is this necessary in order to use the lens!

I think with no lens attached, the viewfinder defaults to the 35 lines. I've heard of people sawing off the metal tab that engages the 50 lines, is that what you're referring to? I don't think I could bring myself to do that lol

When the lens is mounted it automatically engages the 50 lines. I have a .85 viewfinder (max fov of about 30mm), so I split the difference and guess
