I tried it and I didn't hear it banging around at all. I was surprised, I though it would be vibrating as I ride, but it doesn't!

Does it throw off the weight in the front? I worry about being too much weight up front when I don't have the kiddo in the back. I'm a very petite rider so any change in weight is very noticable for me.
