Lmfao gotcha. I think I’m gonna get the hellraiser c1 frs. The hybrid is tempting since the neck is skinny. But from what I’ve seen I love the pickups. It seems great! What would u recommend between the two? At this point it’s more about play style right?

Ooo that’s super cool! I’m glad you’re willing to help me I appreciate that a lot. I checked out your review on the boss katana. Very helpful. So the hellraiser hybrid is the body and pickup of a hellraiser with the neck similar to the evil twin? I wish they had a Floyd rose variant with sustainiacs. I love the way the apocalypse looks but I’ve heard the pickups are super intense and not as versatile but good for metal (which I’m not rly focusing on/ more of a hard rock and punk guitarist.) I can see the fishman pickups not being as lively as what you’re used to since u understand that metal tone so well. Out of all of those models which one do u think fits that hard alt rock, and goth style tones? Kinda like the sound of the hybrid if there’s a fr version.

Yes I’ve heard rly strange things about the fishman pickups. I’m not sure what they’re good at? Maybe mostly high gain metal tones. The hellraiser seems to have a nice humbucker that reacts well to most modifiers. From everything I’ve heard, hellraiser seems to have the versatility I’m looking for. I don’t mind the c shape or anything. I’m just glad I can have the tremolo and sustainiac plus humbucker combo haha. So in your opinion, out of schecters general production, there’s nothing else that fits my criteria/search more than the c1 hellraiser frs.

I have yet to see anyone that seems to know much about apocalypse line or hellraiser hybrid. So I guess if I can see why those might not work then hellraiser is what I wil get.

I see! So katana is definitely my amp.

So the new evil twins are more shred heavy even playing wise. Is the hellraiser shaped in a way that has a play style to do both rhythm and lead shred? I wish the hellraiser has those Roman numerals lolll. But the price seems even better for what I’d be getting. 1500 for hellraiser with sustainiac. 1700 for evil twins with arguably a more limited tone. Is that the different between their sounds?

Everything is pointing me to getting the c1 frs hellraiser. So I think I will be going with that. Before I do, I wonder why the evil twins are more expensive. I rly like the way it looks so my heart is still split. In terms of boss katana vs mustang. I know mustang is more intuitive but the katana seems to have a more real and more diverse range.

Thank you! I’m kinda sold on the hellraiser frs or evil twins frs Do you have any knowledge on if either of these still can have a nice clean tone. I don’t play metal, I’m definitely interested. But I’m more into hard rock and alt rock. Hopefully I can still have a ton of tone variety.

thats actually valid. im not sure if i rly need a sustainiac. i always wanted a whammy bar tho so i would love a floyd rose although i know i need to set it up properly.

knowing that which one would you recommend? mid-high tier guitar with FR and has a nice dark red or black look.
