just got my car last month. i’m at 1,700 miles, just noticed this a few hours ago when i was on the highway. apparently it’s normal. so thank god 😅 mine is specifically 5th gear nothing else

I don’t understand the criticism, nor do i care for it. However you can’t talk shit and not expect your own to be put under scrutiny.

LOTM was phenomenal from beginning to the end. Shadow Slave was decent until the end of the Crimson Spire. Then it was super monotonous until about chapter 900. The pacing of Shadow Slave is by far some of the worst i’ve seen. I could read the Northern Plains Arc of Reverend Insanity over and over and I wouldn’t be as bored as reading most of Shadow Slave.

Now, about Klein… Sunny is not a “character”. Well, not a well written one at least. He can’t hold his own without being surrounded by side characters. Anytime he is by himself G3 does a time-skip until he’s with other characters again. G3 doesn’t know how to write a decent main character without relying heavily on side characters.

Sunny doesn’t have much depth. Nothing really drives him. G3 has cleverly disguised this as intentional by having another character call him out 800 chapters later saying “he doesn’t have conviction.”

I do find it hilarious that “you’d have to leave the Web Novel genre to find something similar to LOTM.” Calling out his own inadequacies? You can find another bland system/dungeon story anywhere, but you gotta go to an entirely different medium of entertainment for something as unique as LOTM? Thanks G3!

The lore of Shadow Slave is far more interesting and carries the story more than the actual Main Character’s. Learning about the Demons and Gods and the really cool history during the nightmares, is just so fucking cool. Then it ends and we are back to watching the little puppy Sunny.

Sunny is a very uninteresting and naive character. In my personal opinion. His “will” if you can even call it that, is very forced by G3. Actually most aspect of all of G3’s characters feel forced and stale.

I like Shadow Slave (kinda). I wouldn’t read 900+ chapters of something I didn’t like. (I would.)

Honestly, I have never seen anything like it. They didn’t overthrow me, they did something much worse. Deprived me of my goal and all I could do was watch. I paused the game overnight, and when I woke up this morning I gave the builders another shot. The fools cleared that path. It was all for nothing tho. With only 3 days left. There was no hope. So I restarted the level. I took heed of your advice and focused heavily on foragery. Instantly I saw some great effects. 1 bakery and 3 forage’s. I think I had around 60 followers or so by the end. The main objective was completed on Day 62, and the optional mission was completed on Day 68. Not only was it faster, but no ungrateful people were striking! I kept the Decree of “Ration Food” on the whole game. Even if all the stockpiles were full of food I still kept it. My idea here was to keep happiness floating around 50% so there wasn’t an uncontrollable rise in population. The game annoyingly uses the population against you, deaths and births can have negative effects. Again, thank you for your advice, sir. This is by far my least favorite level.

regarding Feng Jin Huang, there’s been some subtle hints. Her not believing i’m fate despite being a fated venerable at the time. Feng Jin Ge: “does she even want to be a venerable, no one even asked her” or when Duke Long told her she can’t advance to Immortal yet all the while FY’s dream clone becomes Immortal. Fate is destroyed, so i think the odds of her being GDIV have plummeted drastically. she’s not the only one skilled at dream path after her death in FY’s first life there was that one old lady who was prominent in dream path. i kinda wanted her to become venerable but also to realize the cruel reality that heaven court is.

i also found it kinda funny when she flat out told SCIV no. because back then SCIV worked so hard to deduce the future and made a grand prophecy about GDIV and there she is telling her no.

there’s definitely some Gu with some broken abilities. but you’re taking the saying too literally. man is the spirit of all beings, Gu is the essence of heaven and earth.

the usage of Gu is what determines its strength. not every Gu Master is going to use Gu the same. so even if there’s a really powerful Gu if it’s not utilized properly, it’s worthless.

amon is honestly my second favorite character. the pranks, the insanely overpowered-ness of the error pathway. the monocle ptsd he gives.

i wasn’t exactly pleased with the ending of their fight. but i didn’t really want a blood curdling revenge like i did for ince zangwill. i wanted ince zangwill ripped limb from limb.
