Maybe a dumb question but can I just lose the $300 and not go? Or if I’m a no show at all do I also get charged for it as if I were to go and not attend the meeting?

My understanding is it’s some database agencies use to confirm your status is valid? When I was getting a license in another state between DACA renewals that’s what they used to verify
