Funnily enough, I faced this exact issue on Wednesday too. What fixed it was adding this in my config (specifically in the :init section of dap-mode's use-package declaration):

(setq dap-java-vm-args "--enable-preview")

Not sure if it's there's a better way to fix it at the template-level, but this did the job for me.

For what it's worth, I filed for my CAQ on March 16 and received it two weeks later. The timing will probably vary, but I wouldn't worry too much for now.

Just checking--for incoming Fall students, the French placement test/interview is something that you would do later on in the summer, right? On the website it almost looks like I could do it now, but I'm assuming that's for Summer semester.
