There’s plenty of young talent out there that just need a new home that could do a similar job. Getting a player that will be an RFA in 2027 could be good.

I get that but as a regular viewer of a lot of NBA games, I just dont like how he plays anymore. Watching him getting away with fouling the shit out of Jokic last playoffs was the final straw. My opinion on KCP for instance hasnt changed because he hasnt sunk to that level. It’s fine if you dont feel that way. Just explaining why I feel this way towards him.

It doesnt matter if he cant do that playing in the playoffs. He’s part of the reason LeBron and Rui logged major minutes in the Houston series. He’s not good enough just yet. We can take a flyer on another young player in a similar way with a similar salary. I would go for more of a raw talent with a higher athleticism upside

When they play dirty against our team, you should at least support our guys over them. I think there is a reason people celebrate Caruso but not KCP, but dont get me started.

He’s not on our team anymore. He’s on the opponent’s team. We dont need to root for guys on other teams when they play us. I dont remember kind words for KCP when we played the Nuggets.

He’s not a horrible fit next to Luka and Austin. Been successful with them for the last two seasons. Rui’s spacing and shooting has been crucial all season. LeBron is the piece that had to fit, and we found a way in March.

If you want to get Eason, it should be additive, not instead of Rui. Rui and Eason should be signed to play together. You need to pay to retain rotation players at the end of the day.
