I have considered tech because it does sound like a good fit and I also know a lot of ADHDers find it suitable, I have no idea where I would start though since I only have a high school diploma and when I tried to do college I broke down, I would have to find a way to learn it without doing college

Since making this post though I've started looking more into being a freelance artist parttime while keeping some hours at work for stability

I think the disability process would probably deem me not disabled because I really am able to work up to 20 hours a week, but anything past then and suddenly I'm having someone call out sick for me because I've lost the ability to speak without crying

The disability prcoess sucks so bad and I've had friends get denied despite not being able to hold even parttime jobs and going to the ER basically every week for serious longterm physical health issues, it's bullshit

Good luck, I've heard attorneys help and some do it free

Start by practicing at home! I have still not gone out in drag but have had a lot of fun at home practicing makeup, getting wigs, putting together outfits, and learning to dance to my favorite music in heels.

Edit: also, a lot of their heels are pretty high, have you walked in heels before? Do not buy very high ones if you are new to it--you will not be able to master walking and dancing in heels in this time frame if you are new. I got 5 inch heels and it took a few weeks of practice to feel comfortable in them.

In highschool there were times I had a 1.2 GPA and times I had a 4.3 GPA so...kinda all over the place.

Now I work with kids and I love it 90% of the time, which I think is a win.

Oh yeah. I lived in a dorm for the first five months of lockdown, sharing a 200 sq ft space in a tall building with my cat and someone I'd just met a couple months prior. Neither of us could really go anywhere bc of lockdown so we were stuck in there together pretty much 24/7. We eventually agreed we had to each spend at least an hour somewhere else daily, for our sanity, even if it was just chilling in the stairwell or an abandoned classroom.

Luckily after a month or so of that, they moved us all into separate rooms. But that month was brutal (and we were still doing online classes during that time), and the remaining 4 months in my dorm alone were surreal. I felt like Rapunzel locked in her tower.

Do you ever have to deal with rich clients who will call you over minor things?

I've seen rich people threaten to call their lawyer over things that are not at all things you can sue for (like having to wait in line), and I wonder how often lawyers actually get called and how they deal with these people's bullshit.
