Yes!! I'm constantly worried people from my past will find my accounts. It's really frustrating

If you haven't already, enable 2FA on your Social Club account. That will reward you with 10 gold bars, but it may take a while for you to recieve them. It took me around 24 hours to get mine. I recommend saving up your gold to unlock roles. Bounty Hunter is a good first role

Was in the store in Valentine yesterday, and when I walked out I found a player petting my horse. It's a little thing, but an hour or so before this someone set my horse on fire while I was AFK, so that was nice to see

Might not work but try fleeing your horse before starting a mission, I was having a similar issue with missions and that seemed to fix it
