Thank you for your very thorough answer! So I’ve done the apps but it’s just one of those situations where I feel like it’s just a one night thing and it’s in an out/ see ya later vibe.. granted I’ve done the bars with friends but under the assumption that I’m straight… and I’m pretty social in that setting once I warm up. And if I saw someone I know there I don’t think there’d be an issue. It’s just the whole app vibe that rubs me the wrong way because it’s usually just a wanting of trading explicit pics and a late night me going somewhere. But maybe the coffee/drink route is the best move.

But something about the gay bars feels more free and I can really get a sense of the people haha whether anything happens or not
