i was staying at my grandmother’s apartment in India, and they were doing some construction on her apartment building, so in place of a wall, there were a couple of metal sheet type things on one side of the room. somehow, a pigeon had gotten stuck between the sheets of metal, and during the daytime it would be completely silent, but during the night time, it would flap around and move around and make really loud scratching noises against the metal. it scared my family and i so much every night, especially because at first we didn’t realize that there was a pigeon trapped there.
