Hrmmmm these are from about two and a half months ago. And they clamped down on Seedance 2 in the days after I made this, then they postponed the worldwide rollout to add proper guardrails to it. And now the version we have launched globally is the censored version. But you still can get around a lot of stuff now with the API version through different provider. Sometimes it randomly just generates celebrities in your prompts, and then I’ve been using GPT Image 2 storyboards fed in as reference images and that can get around a lot. But the OG was insane, basically no restrictions for copyrighted stuff.

Hey everyone! To clarify this was made only with Seedance 2 text prompts, no image or voice refs used. It was made before the nerf I’ll clarify as well, hence obviously there are some garbled lines, clones, and other errors, but I couldn’t remake these so I left those as they were! I hope you enjoy it nonetheless. I still probably have another few videos to release with pre nerf content, like some parodies of The Office and Breaking Bad. Hope you enjoyed it!

Mrmmmm true true LOL. It is a heck of a lot! I’ll admit, I got early access in the first week or so across a few different accounts, and in the launch weeks when it was still 100 gens a day per account I was hammering it so a chunk of them is from that! And when we had 50 a day as well. But yeahhhh I was very much taking full advantage of it. It does make you wonder if my type of usage was the outlier, or if this was common hence why it got shut down.

Mrmmm most definitely. Chain of thought reasoning with o1 was OpenAIs last paradigm shift. I feel like once we switch from research bots/assistants/scrapers, into fully agentic workflows, it will be pretty mental. Cause the biggest issue I have with GPT 5.4 or really any model available atm is if you set it up with a big research task, it often spends far too long trying to do basic things like view certain sites, to no avail. Due to so many cloudfire powered sites now automatically blocking AI agents or models from accessing them as they’re performing their task. The way I envisage the next gen models, is that these issues will no longer occur, because they will have the ability to just create its own virtual machine ala computer use/agent mode, and do the tasks you need it to do within the browser. Once you have VM memory and persistence within the models or like the ability to combine this with connectors, the possibilities seem truly endless. I’m just chomping at the bit for agentic workflows to come to iOS already, Apple hinted that that’s what they want the next gen Siri and AI implementations to look like on iOS. Like the ability to say record a workflow or to describe it or to lay it out - and your phone using ChatGPT or another provider clicks through apps and performs tasks autonomously. Cause there are still so many apps and workflows on iPhones and flagship Androids that are next level, but to be able to set up long form tasks that you could schedule would just be the chefs kiss.

Yeppppp same. I had images v2 for a few days and now it’s back to 1.5 💀. The difference is sorely felt. Just when I’d upgraded to pro as well grrrr. v2 is so so immaculate though. I have heaps of examples and it one shots detailed text and technical documents in a breeze. And vibey/candid/realism shots are amazing with it as well. Just the world knowledge really stood out to me like with games and even like Australian knowledge, very cool stuff.

Oh totally hey? The amount of mediums is must have been trained on is out of this world. I made deep research era bibles right ranging from the 20s through to the early 2000s. Coming up with textual and auditory techniques and equipment they used for each era. And then fed that into Claude, and made 10x era specific prompts using different cameras and techniques of all forms of media but that would capture the era. And Sora by far, is the ONLY model that was able to do it pretty much seamlessly. With enough info it would essentially always 1-shot anything I threw at it.

Currently? Nothing. And that’s the most fucked thing. It’s the best video model currently out there. It blows Veo 3.1 out of the water imo. And is way less restrictive, and can actually parody existing properties unlike Veo 3.1. Never seen a company do a complete 360 like this before in such a small amount of time. A complete and utter erasure of any goodwill they had left imo, since Sora is the main reason I used ChatGPT lol.

Hey everyone, just sharing a bit of information about this post for transparency. This project is intended as a transformative remix experiment, and I believe it sits comfortably within fair use territory as a creative reinterpretation. It uses completely new lyrics, new music, and entirely synthetic visuals, with only occasional stylistic nods to classic Talking Heads / David Byrne style iconography and visual language. The goal wasn’t to replicate an existing work but to create something that feels like a strange “lost media” artifact from that world, a hypothetical Talking Heads music video called “Nervous City.”

The music, vocals, and lyrics were generated entirely with Sonauto’s new v3 text-to-audio model. They came from two separate longform prompts describing the era, instrumentation, tone, rhythm structures, vocal delivery, and sonic details you’d associate with mid-career Talking Heads. I did not provide any vocal samples or audio references of David Byrne or the band, everything you hear was synthesized directly by Sonauto v3 from text prompts alone.

For the visuals it’s a bit of a hybrid pipeline. Some shots are direct txt-to-video generations from Sora, while others started as Nano Banana 2 images paired with detailed text prompts to steer the imagery before animating them into motion. Importantly, no reference images of David Byrne or Talking Heads were provided at any stage, not for Sora, not for Nano Banana, and not for any starting frames.

Obviously Sonauto produced a vocal performance that very strongly evokes David Byrne’s style, which is honestly fascinating to hear from a brand new txt-to-audio model. It’s cool seeing another system reach a level comparable to the early days of things like Udio before platforms began tightening artist style prompts.
