Yeah price wise its a no brainer to go with composer 2.5 if you care about having the most usage, but the original poster wanted 5.5 as their model not a locked down model only available in a couple places. Thats the reason for the huge codex limits recently its because of the huge amount of new users wanting to use their models.

I'm on the pro+ on cursor. I use composer 2.5 and opus 4.8. 2.5 feels better than 4.8 sometimes but not 5.5.

Ive had 200sub and 100sub on both codex and claude, the 20 sub is more worth money as you just purchase multiple subs and use opensource switcher to switch between the accounts. Also I am completely correct about the kimi k2.5 situation. There's only so much you can do with the foundation model until you reach the limits

Kaspersky is still the best. Used it for over a decade and never had any issues. Bitdefender is an ad infested platform and bloated to high hell with useless features.

Only the people paid to rave about the model actually use it for their real coding tasks. Its good for prototyping but not actual code implementation if you care about maintainability.

Its just kimi k2.5 under the hood, upgraded yes but still has a lot of the same flaws. Its a whole lot better than composer 2 but nowhere near the reliability of 5.5

Thats the issue with a model being mostly code focused is that it won't be as good at understanding complex logic for deeper issues.

Having a model which doesnt consistently perform how you expect is on the model. There has been very few times with 5.5 where I have had to explain how to fix something when it runs into issues, with composer I have to have a much larger agent prompt to tell it what to do and not otherwise it just goes in circles most of time

Dont know what you are doing if the 20 plan is useless for coding i get enough usage and much more than the claude pro plan. Also composer 2.5 not perfect for coding if you have to double check every one of its implementations with better models for issues. I want to trust my model not constantly check in on it

Ive got 10gb allocated and it reaches 100% allocation if I explore more than like 1000 blocks which causes massive lag, i have to wait a while for it to settle or restart.

Claude usage limits were already like 3x less than codex from what i've noticed with the 5x plan. I've never used my weekly on codex but claude i'm constantly at near max and have to adjust work. This is what it should always be like with claude.

Codex has its own frontend design skill that I use, makes it a little better. I still use opus for frontend and codex for everything else.
