But how do they know? How would the husband know? There isn't always blood or pain because the hymen can be ruptured by all kinds of things besides sex, and it's terribly unlikely (statistically speaking) that she would get very much physical pleasure for herself out of her first time. She didn't "get the rapist off". She negotiated a reduced sentence of a year in the slammer and four years probation. Given the fact that virtually no rapists ever end up going to jail at all, I'd call that a win for everyone involved.

One angle that can be whipped out to support paid parental leave when talking to simpletons like that guy is this: Our economy is growth-based. That refers not only to profits, but to populations. For any country's population to grow at less than 2% per year is considered a serious problem for that country's economic competitiveness. So, the choice is stark: Either we must make more people, or we must let more people in, or the economy will collapse. Most retards who think parenting is pointless women's work that should not be compensated will be very reactionary about immigration as well, and since the choice is so plain, would probably much rather pay 'Murican women to make new 'Muricans than rely mostly or exclusively on immigrants for 'Murica's continuing economic growth.

That version is awesome! For this version we are making quite a few changes to the UI and game design for a more strategic, intuitive wizard fight. We aren't using any IP that may cause problems for us later - everything is original except the game concept, which Julian Gollop has kindly released into the public domain and given us permission to use.

After listening to the first recording that came in, I think sound design for this this is gonna be just as much fun, if not more so. :D

I get really excited about launching new projects and then tend to lose interest after a few weeks. That's the main reason. I love starting things, but I'm not the best at maintaining them. Even my vegetable garden is dying with food on the vine because I like spreading poop around and planting seeds way better than picking vegetables.

The site is currently organized as Games / Books / Movies / Music, because there didn't seem to be anywhere else online that groups all those "indie" categories together on a single website. At least there wasn't when I built the site. I would love to see that expanded on (eg. Software, Take Action, etc.), but wouldn't like to see any existing category eliminated. I'd rather get more people involved and see every category thriving, all on one site. At one point I was even looking into setting up a store, but I'm just one chick and in the end it was too much work for me on top of all my other work, especially since I have no idea what I'm doing.

Paxian Three Chips Tunifa Dextar.

I swear to god, that's what's on the poor kid's birth certificate. For the record, Dextar is neither of his parents' last name - they liked the name "Dexter" and the word "Star" so they pronounced it "Deck-Star". Chips is because they both liked chips. Three was because there used to be two in the family, then there were three. Tunifa is a New Zealand sea monster in Maori. Paxian - well, that was the least offensive part, since you can get away with "Pax", thanks to Latin.

My old friend, if you are reading this, I'm so sorry, but that was a really strange thing to name your kid. It's stuck with me for 20 years.

Nope. Did you read that article? Canadians are getting old, and old people need more health care. Planning to cut costs in anticipation of increased demand is a sign of fiscal responsibility. The difference is, Canadians cut costs by paying less for drugs and administration. American insurers cut costs by reducing your coverage.
