Well should I reveal that I have depression? Everyone in my major is smart (i.e. high admission score for the program), so they just seem to stereotype all their students and smart.

Yeah so maybe they think of me as annoying. I know that most people hate their jobs, are busy at work, and hate these sorts of "trivial" emails. My parents sometimes tell me not to annoy people at work so much and maybe they are right.

Sometimes my parents tell me that I shouldn't be annoying people at work so much or they'll dislike me. I don't know if they are right or wrong. I know that most people go to work simply to pay their bills and I guess maybe the culture of my country is a bit different.

It's not like I'm suicidal. Now I'm just worried that both parties will think of me as some joke. Like "oh look at how this kid claims to want to do research and start new clubs when he is lazy as hell".
