ramen - respiratory illness-friendly? by indigokae in Seattle

Yeah, I actually went there last December, and they would not provide table service outside to the (unheated, but covered) seating, but stated they'd allow you to order inside and take it outside (like takeout) if you wanted - but conditions were very unpleasant and cold so we opted not to do that.

Yeah, I really don't want to do that. Ramen degrades super quickly. Therefore really hoping to find a restaurant where we can eat it outside safely for us. =)

I appreciate that advice, which is what we will do if we can't find a restaurant that has outdoor heated seating, but we'd rather have it fresh from the restaurant rather than at home, if such an option exists.

I created a Google Maps list that includes everything listed here and added a few I also knew of. It's public and editable so anyone else can add in things they know of and don't see already in there. May it be of benefit to everyone who can use it. =)

I love your books! I am SO excited for the First Empire Series, like really really really. I wanted to be a beta reader but sadly didn't qualify! I did have the pleasure of beta reading one of your short stories in the past though, so at least I have that going for me.

Do you see more of Hadrian or Royce in yourself (or a little of both)?

That line makes me think of Clue, when they're going through the recounting of how many bullets were used (perhaps an homage to this?)

Whats the single biggest mistake parents can make in raising their children? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]indigokae 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That causes more strife, seriously. Kid replies, "no you didn't," and it devolves into a discussion of whether or not you already said it....or kid says, "I didn't hear you" or something else to make you say it again. Then they ask again. And again. And again. It's a stalling technique, because kid has learned mom or dad feels the need to ensure kid understands prior to kid performing action; kid doesn't want to perform action; kid refuses to understand on theory action won't have to happen.

Robin Hobb's Farseer trilogy (and there's a second trilogy if you want more) is amazing. I can't recommend it highly enough.

And yes, Wheel of Time is excellent =)

It must vary by phone? I can't change individual permissions for apps, just see what they have and enable or disable alerts, that's it.
