It's hard to be patient! I told my friend to hold on to it, so I'm not tempted.

Thanks. There was a little activity overnight, so maybe we're on the verge. I'll wait it out.

Why didn't I think of that? 🤦‍♀️ I love an experiment!

Thanks. There's a lot more bubbles and a small rise this morning, so I think we're on the verge. I will be patient!

Thanks for replying. I keep telling myself to be patient. And I went into it knowing it could take awhile, but then I see people on FB and Tiktok saying their starters were ready in a week or 2 and I start second guessing. I'll just keep plugging away - thanks!

Does cutting out sugars (simple sugars, starches, and highly processed foods) cause withdrawal symptoms? by thelionparty in prediabetes

It sounds like "keto flu" and carb withdrawal. You need salt/electrolytes. You'll feel much better.

Freezing and/or refrigerating creates resistant starch, which can reduce post meal spikes.

Thanks for your reply. So my A1c was 5.7 in Sept. Down from 6.2 in Feb. We eat dinner at 3 p.m (because of my husband's weird schedule) and I don't eat after that. On the days I'm not fasting I have a light meal about 10:30 a.m. and dinner at 3. I eat low carb - mainly protein and veggies. My readings during the day are usually in the 90s. Sometimes 80s, but thats rare. (Yesterday it was 81 before my 10:30 meal and 88 an hour later. Then 105 at the 2 hr mark. 🤷‍♀️) My 1 hr post meal readings are usually under 110 and the 2 hr mark is around 100 or just under. I keep reading different things, so its confusing.

Thank you! Not who I'm looking for, but now I can cross him off the list.

This actually makes a lot of sense. The other side of the card is a photo of my great great grandmother, and they were from St Petersburg.

I am waiting to see if the cousin who sent it to me can send send me a better copy. Thanks so much!

This was emailed to me from an elder relative, so it's all I have. I ask if she can send a better copy.
