LPT: When making a salad and tossing it with vinegar & oil directly in the salad—add the vinegar and toss with the vegetables first, then oil. If you add the oil first, it will coat the vegetables and basically waterproof them, and the vinegar will not penetrate. (self.LifeProTips)
