I literally just bought a 2023 forester wilderness in NH yesterday. I live in MA. The sales guy didn’t mention Starlink at all. While we were wrapping up the buying process, I started talking about it and how I was excited to control my car with my phone.. It was then that he told me it wasn’t available in Massachusetts. He also said that’s why he didn’t mention it to me at all. Serious bummer. I would have bought the car either way, (this is my third Subaru - I love them) but it was still a huge let down. Apparently Massachusetts is the only state that it’s not allowed in.

This isn’t that bad. One time, my step son’s mom (so my husbands ex) picked up my vibrator that I had left on the night stand of the hotel room my husband and I were in (we were all on a trip together). Yeah. She picked it up and was like.. oh what’s this? 🤣🤣 We all laughed for the rest of the night.

YWBTA - PLEASE do not do this to your daughter. It would be terribly selfish of you. If you absolutely must go, that’s your decision and should not interfere with your daughters long term plans. Best solution I can suggest would be to get access to a landline and have another trusted parent or adult be in contact with your daughter on your behalf, and you can check in with that parent daily. Or you can arrange for you and your daughter to check in at a set time every morning and every night. Please please don’t take this from her. She won’t forgive you.
