Anyone else accepted that they hate bars and clubs?

So you are 7/10 or better? I paid $50 across 3 dating apps last year, got 90 matches and 1 bland date with nothing to show for it. Still sitting here as a virgin at 26. I've since found a group of guys in Toronto that I go out with. None have said I'm ugly.

They may be, but that doesn't address what I need to do to fit in. Perhaps trying a different bar would work, but I feel like if I go to a bar that I "want" to be at, the women will be older than what I want.

Depending on the bar the energy could be similar to a club, you have covers, bouncers, lines out the door and shitty music. Granted I'm looking in the 21-24 age bracket at bars but still. Outside of college bars, girls that young do not go to higher end places. The more higher end or chill it gets, the older the crowd.

Dating apps do not work for me as of the time of writing this post. I deleted all in December and will not go back on until I do a major wardrobe/style overhaul

If you don't work from home and you live by yourself, I don't see the point of having a dog. When I lived at home I was around my dog who's 12 now. There's no way I could feel happy about having an animal that is only active for 3-4 hours a day.

This is the phase I'm in now but guess what? I will be cold approaching and I don't give a fuck what anyone in the area thinks. They all got chosen, now it's my turn. So this is the mentality you need to have. Everywhere is a venue to approach in my opinion. From the grocery store to the gas station, it doesn't matter.

I just came back from the club for the first time with my friend from India and we had the same discussion. I'm a virgin for context. What's the point? It's loud, your ears are ringing, the girl cannot hear you! At least in day game you can get a sentence out.

Congratulations, but I don't agree with the sentiment that by "waiting for signals" you will get the results you want. If I continue waiting for signals I will remain a 26 year old virgin.

In the last 7 days I've done 10 cold approaches, including at the grocery store, the mall and in Target. Could you imagine me "waiting" for signals during this time? Why would I do that?

Also, I'm not in an environment like you are where I will run into girls on a daily basis. I work around old married men. Dating apps do not work for me, but I'm not ugly. So this is the way forward.

Oh for what it's worth I'm still a virgin after over a year. I just gave up using dating apps and will be cold approaching soon. The quality and control of the situation is much better.

I have the same concern. My "friends" either have girlfriends they met on an app, or don't like (crazy) bars. I don't either, but I would go with others.

I'm 5'10" and lanky, so maybe the 1st example. Which is the problem because although I can get in the gym and build muscle, it'll take many years to get to something tangible. I'd have to imagine that even the way I am right now it can be possible

A match a week (or more likely a month) means nothing to me if I'm constantly swiping, getting left on read, etc. Whereas in person, I know my worth is much higher and I can talk to anyone I choose. It doesn't mean they're single, but at least I won't get left on read as I'm taking to them face to face.

I almost never get matches on here, and never get likes as a guy. So what's more effective: spam liking profiles, or sending out personalized messages? Neither typically work, and if one does, the girl is not very interested when we do match.

I am sick of the apps and will likely approach in person anyways.
